Nestling in a secluded corner of the Langdale Estate, Brackens is a traditional Lakeland stone cottage surrounded by its own extensive private garden and could be straight out of a Beatrix Potter book. Its rustic appearance belies the luxurious accommodation inside.

The two-bedroomed cottage has been sensitively refurbished to retain the building's quaint character...but designed for the future and not for the past. Sympathetic to the existing structure, traditional materials such as stone, Lakeland slate and oak beams have been used, together with the same high-quality furnishings and state-of-the-art facilities you would expect from Langdale.

The gardens are naturally landscaped to retain the privacy which led to Brackens becoming known as Langdale's best kept secret.
